Care for your favourite pieces. The high-quality properties of KEUCO products provide the best conditions for impressing as long-term equipment details. Proper care is crucial in order to be able to enjoy KEUCO products for as long as possible.
Accessories
Proper care does not require much equipment at all: Dirt and limescale can be removed with a soft cloth, water and a skin-friendly cleaner, preferably washing-up liquid. The use of alcohol- and acid-based cleaning or disinfectants, scratching and abrasive agents, or so-called limescale removers, should be avoided. Such agents destroy the surface and impair secure adhesion to the wall.
Bathroom furniture
Soft, slightly damp cloths or leather rags should always be used to clean the bathroom furniture. Dry all parts thoroughly after use or cleaning. For stubborn stains, it is recommended to add some spirits or a skin-friendly washing-up liquid to the lukewarm water and rub dry with a soft, lint-free cloth after cleaning. Do not use acetic or citric acid, alcohol-based cleaning agents, scouring agents, solvent-based cleaners or other chemicals for cleaning.
Light mirrors
Less is more here: It is best to clean the mirror surfaces only with a damp chamois leather. Do not use commercially available glass cleaners and wipe the mirror edges dry only. No open bottles or containers of toilet or pipe cleaner, nail polish remover or similar should be stored near mirrors.
Washbasins
Soft, slightly damp cloths or leather rags should always be used for cleaning. For stubborn dirt, we recommend the KEUCO “Mineral cast iron cleaning and care product”, which is supplied as an accessory with every KEUCO mineral cast iron sink.
The surface is very easy to clean. This is done with warm water, a soft cloth or sponge and ordinary glass or vinegar cleaners. Only agents without abrasive components may be used.
KEUCO ceramic washbasins are finished with the special CLEANPLUS surface sealer. This makes maintenance and cleaning even faster and easier. Warm water and a mild detergent are sufficient to clean the sink.
In the first few months, it is recommended to use mild scouring milk once or twice a month to maintain a uniform surface finish. Then wash the surface with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Use warm water, mild detergent and a soft cloth for daily cleaning of the sink.
Steel enamel should be cleaned with mild detergents and a soft cloth or sponge to avoid damaging the surface. Abrasive or acidic cleaners and hard brushes should be avoided as they can cause scratches or dull spots. Lime scale deposits can be gently removed with special enamel cleaners.

Guaranteed long-lasting enjoyment of the product: In order to be able to offer customers special customer service beyond the seller’s statutory warranty, KEUCO assumes a voluntary 3-year manufacturer’s warranty for the products. The manufacturer’s warranty starts two years and ends five years after the purchase of the product (warranty period).
